New Orleans - Some American Idol hopefuls from Louisiana gave it their all tonight.

"American Idol's" cruel group competition means a lot of early favorites are now gone, but some of the favorites from Louisiana made it through.

Earlier this month, we introduced you to Jovany Barreto from Harvey. He along Jordan Dorsey from LaPlace made it through another cut in Hollywood.
